Jen is a seasoned communications professional and well-respected Trenton operative, who has spent her career messaging complex policy issues to both statehouse reporters and the public at large. Her background working in the statehouse gives her a unique understanding of how legislation goes from an idea to being signed into law, and the role public opinion can play in swaying the final product.
She is a strong believer in the need for high-quality public outreach around legislation as well as government programming and assistance. Jen has managed social media and press relations around major legislation concerning criminal justice, education and public health.
There is nothing she loves more than taking a dense piece of legislation and reimagining how to message it in a way that is digestible and accessible for the general public, conveying how it will impact regular people and why they should care.
Jen began her career in the Senate Majority Office, rising through the ranks from Communications Associate to Deputy Director of Communications, before serving as the Cherry Hill Township’s Director of Communications. Most recently, she was Managing Director of Moss Media, supporting a broad range of clients with social media, press relations and general communications.
